Full Accreditation from Yökak to Our University!

Our university has earned the Full Accreditation certificate, the highest level of assessment in the field of quality assurance in higher education. Following the evaluation and field visits conducted by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK), Fırat University successfully met all the requirements of the quality assurance system and was declared a fully accredited university by the board's decision dated July 18, 2025.

This significant development demonstrates that our university's institutional structure, educational activities, research activities, social contribution services, and management processes have been certified by YÖKAK for their compliance with national standards.

Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş, stated, “As Fırat University, we are very proud to have achieved such a significant success in this special year, marking half a century. This success, achieved through a comprehensive, meticulous, and transparent evaluation process, is the joint effort not only of the institution's management but also of all our academic and administrative staff and students. We will continue to add value to our country with our quality-focused education approach.”

With the full accreditation decision, Fırat University will have a stronger academic reputation both nationally and internationally, further solidifying its position as a preferred center for students and academics.
