Emrah Akbulut, one of the first graduates of Fırat University's Department of Statistics and a successful insurance agent, met with students in a private classroom talk.

Akbulut candidly shared his experiences in the insurance sector, detailing the challenges he faced in his professional life, his success stories, and the importance of statistical knowledge in business. In his speech, Akbulut emphasized the critical importance of data analysis and risk assessment processes for an insurance agent and offered students advice on how to put their theoretical knowledge into practice.

The insurer, who answered the students' questions sincerely and offered advice on their post-graduation career path, shared his vision for his professional life, saying, "The statistical background you gain here will put you a step ahead in the business world. However, the secret to success is continuous learning and adapting to change."

Students who attended the event expressed that the talk opened new horizons for them in terms of both professional and personal development. The Statistics Department's Data Science and Student Society thanked Emrah Akbulut, noting that such events boost students' motivation.
