Fırat University Student Societies Organized Introduction Days

Fırat University organized the "Student Societies Introduction Days" event to introduce university societies and social activities to newly enrolled students.

As the "Data Science and Statistics" society, we took part.

The two-day introductory event, held in front of University House, aimed to provide students with the opportunity to take an active role in university life and contribute to their social, cultural, and professional development.

Throughout the event, representatives of student societies active in various fields at Fırat University set up stands and provided new students with information about their societies. The representatives introduced the societies students could join based on their interests and also registered members.

Fırat University Rector Prof. Dr. Fahrettin Göktaş attended the event and visited the stands set up by the student societies. Prof. Dr. Göktaş emphasized the important role of community activities in the social and cultural development of students. Rector Göktaş stated that these societies, founded by students from different faculties and departments, organize events that support their educational lives and contribute to their future professional careers, and emphasized the importance of student participation.
