At an event organized by the Data Science and Statistics Student Society, Associate Professor Dr. Mehmet Onur Kaya, Head of the Department of Biostatistics and Medical Informatics at Fırat University, met with students from our department.

The event, which attracted considerable interest, featured a former alumnus, Mehmet Onur Kaya in a talk that explored both his student years and his academic progress. The talk explored potential future opportunities for graduates. He also touched on employers' expectations of new graduates. With this information, he encouraged students to recognize the value of statistics and offered his recommendations.
