Data Analysis Training with SPSS” was organized for Statistics Department Students.

Fırat University, a research university and a key player in its goal of remaining so, organized a "Data Analysis Training with SPSS" program for students in the department, organized by Associate Professor Dr. Nurhan Halisdemir, a faculty member in the Department of Statistics, to develop research projects and high-quality publications.

Associate Professor Dr. Nurhan Halisdemir, who provided information about measurement tools used in academic research, explained the relationship between survey data entry and scales and tests using SPSS. Assoc. Professor Dr. Halisdemir discussed descriptive statistics and SPSS applications, demonstrating the tabulation system in the studies with graphs.

Associate Professor Halisdemir Dr. gave a presentation on examining the normality assumption in SPSS, which will be used in future multidisciplinary studies. He also explained how students will learn about normal distribution in graphs, its properties, the establishment and use of hypotheses, variance analysis, nonparametric statistical methods, chi-square analysis, alternatives to t-tests and ANOVA, reliability analysis, and factor analysis. He stated that they will collaborate on these studies.
