WEEKLY DEPARTMENT BOARD MEETING HELD

Fırat University successfully continues its quality and accreditation processes, which are a crucial step in improving the quality of education and ensuring that educational programs meet national and international standards.

The best way to provide contemporary, competitive, transparent, and innovative educational services is through accreditation. In this context, our department's primary strategic goal is to cultivate desirable graduates and produce higher-quality scientific products by maintaining the operation and continuity of the accreditation process and quality control mechanisms.

To advance its quality and accreditation processes to a level suitable for inclusion in the institutional accreditation program, the Statistics Department of our university's Faculty of Science held a FEDEK preparatory meeting, along with the fourth meeting to discuss FEDEK membership and curriculum renewal.

At the meeting held in the Department Head's office within the scope of the Faculty of Science Quality Processes:

Evaluation of the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year

The meeting concluded with the distribution of courses for the Spring Semester of the 2023-2024 Academic Year, the preparation of course syllabi and course schedules, and the feedback and recommendations of academic staff.

The department faculty members stated that they believe the department will achieve a very different level as a result of this process and efforts.
